Administration Tile Coordinator – AMS Surfaces (Adelaide Marble Services)
Location: Wingfield, SA
Hours: Preferred 8 AM – 4 PM (negotiable for the right candidate)
The Opportunity:
Join AMS Surfaces, a respected, family-owned leader in the marble and surfaces industry with nearly 40 years of experience delivering exceptional service to retail and wholesale customers. We are seeking an experienced Administration Tile Coordinator to support the CEO and oversee the dispatch process while driving customer excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your customer service and coordination skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The Role:
As the Administration Tile Coordinator, you will be a key member of the team, ensuring smooth operations across sales, dispatch, and invoicing. Key responsibilities include:
• Directly supporting the CEO with operational and administrative tasks.
• Managing the dispatch process, supervising the Warehouse Packer, and ensuring on-time deliveries.
• Acting as a liaison between the Direct Sales Team, invoicing, and dispatch for both new and existing product lines.
• Handling customer inquiries, including phone-based service and issue resolution.
• Managing order accuracy, including using Year 10-level math for tile quantity calculations.
• Overseeing approximately 300 incoming container deliveries annually.

• Proven experience in customer service (phone-based preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills, with confidence handling escalations and managing up to prevent customer issues.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a small, tight-knit team.
• High attention to detail while maintaining efficiency.
• Competence with basic mathematics for order processing.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple relationships.
