Our client is a government organisation based in the North Coast Region seeking a capable and detail-focused Project Officer - Traffic Data for a long-term contract role from 1 July 2025 to 31 March 2027, based in Buderim.

In this role, you’ll coordinate traffic survey activities, support internal clients, and maintain critical road data systems. The successful candidate will engage contractors, ensure safety and compliance at survey locations and assist in delivering accurate and timely project support.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate new traffic survey requests, including procurement
• Provide advice on survey locations, compliance and data accuracy
• Manage contractor engagement and oversee minor contracts
• Maintain email inboxes and folder structures related to traffic data
• Update and manage spreadsheets and databases
• Enter and maintain data in corporate systems
• Generate traffic composition reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Attend occasional site visits as needed
• Perform additional duties to support team operations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams and Outlook
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• AO4.1 – $58.02
• AO4.2 – $59.84
• AO4.3 – $61.76
• AO4.4 – $63.69
