About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our experienced team at Expert Dental Care in Casula, NSW. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of our dental practice and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting patients and managing the reception area in a friendly and professional manner
• Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
• Handling patient inquiries and providing information about services, policies, and procedures
• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic databases
• Processing payments, handling insurance claims, and managing financial transactions
• Ordering and maintaining office supplies
• Assisting the dental team as needed to ensure the efficient operation of the practice

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar customer service role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and professional manner
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using dental practice management software and electronic medical records
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work well under pressure
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is highly desirable
