Newtown Elite Dental is looking for a professional and experienced Dental Receptionist to join our friendly, patient-focused team 3–4 days a week. If you're someone who takes pride in delivering excellent service, staying organised, and supporting a busy clinical team, we'd love to meet you.

About the Role:

As our front-desk coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and a key part of the day-to-day operations of our modern practice. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a caring, fast-paced environment and values attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming and checking in patients

Managing bookings and appointment flow

Answering phones and handling patient enquiries

Processing payments and HICAPS claims

Maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality

Liaising with clinical staff to ensure smooth operations

Sterilisation and infections control

Ad hoc duties / assisting the practice manager

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 1–2 years of dental or medical reception experience

Confident with dental software and scheduling systems

Proficient with Dental4Windows (D4W) or similar dental practice management software

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

Professional phone manner and excellent communication skills

Friendly, calm, and able to build rapport with patients

Comfortable with early starts (6:45am starts)

Availability for 3–4 weekdays (no weekends required)

Full Australian working rights required
