About the role

Hobart Coffee Roasters' is seeking an experienced Café co-Manager to join our team in our flagship café located in the heart of Hobart, Tasmania. This is a full-time role, where you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the café and leading a team of baristas and café assistants to deliver exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

Manage the daily operations of the café, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food and beverage preparation

Lead, coach and motivate a team of baristas and café assistants, providing guidance and support to help them deliver excellent customer service

Liaise with the Head Chef and co-Manager to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and front-of-house

Manage inventory, rostering, and other administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the café

Act as the face of the café, providing exceptional customer service and handling any customer enquiries or complaints

Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of café policies, procedures, and initiatives.

What we're looking for

A vibrant, warm and caring team leader

Minimum 2 years' experience in a café or restaurant management role

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Excellent customer service skills and a passion for exceeding customer expectations

Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
