We are a specialist disability service organisation known for our high-quality care that has been supporting Territorians for over 50 years. Our services and support make a difference to Territorians by helping them to live the life they want to live.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person with a ‘can do’ attitude to join our family friendly, vibrant and dynamic team.
About the role
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Rostering Officer to join our team and help ensure consistent, high-quality support for people with disability across Somerville’s services.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating staffing coverage across multiple sites and regions, managing both planned and unplanned shift vacancies in a fast-paced, 24/7 service environment. You’ll play a key part in maintaining person-centred, compliant, and efficient rosters that support continuity of care and strong working relationships between staff and participants.
From filling last-minute absences and managing the shift bidding process, to updating rosters in real time and liaising with stakeholders across the organisation, this role is central to making sure the right people are in the right place at the right time.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives under pressure, communicates clearly, and enjoys problem-solving in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
