About the role

We are seeking a part-time Wholesale Admin & Logistics Agent to join our team at SOUMAH of Yarra Valley, based in Gruyere VIC 3770. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to our wholesale distribution operations, ensuring efficient processing and delivery of orders to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Manage and process wholesale customer orders, from receipt to fulfilment. Creating invoices, delivering wine etc.

Deliver wine from Gruyere to Melbourne and surrounds using SOUMAH van at least once per week. You will have to have a valid Victorian driver's license and be prepared to get a forklift license supported by SOUMAH.

Maintain accurate inventory records and provide regular stock updates

Assist with the preparation and packing of wholesale orders

Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely and accurate order processing

Provide exceptional customer service to our wholesale clients

Help fulfill retail customer orders by building AUSPOST delivery stickers for the CD team.

Support the wider administrative and operational needs of the business as required

The position will work Monday, Thursday and Friday from appx 9am till 3.30pm. Depending on skill set there may be more hours available in other cellar door activities.

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience in a similar administrative or logistics role, preferably within the wine distribution business.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Excellent computer skills using MYOB, Outlook and wholesale placement system and other software. Developing invoices and placing orders, maintaining attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Exceptional communication skills with management, sales team members and customer service skills

A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to contribute to the wider business objectives

The physical ability to handle boxes of wine, stacking boxes on pallets, putting boxes in van, delivering boxes to customers, including restaurants, bottle stores and wine bars.

You must already live within a 30-minute drive to SOUMAH.
