Role Details
The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Senior Manager to join the IT Strategy and Governance Unit on a full-time ongoing basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Managing a diverse team to deliver a range of complex and specialist services (Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture and IT Governance).
Leading the development and implementation of innovative strategies, programs, plans and governance frameworks.
Collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders to develop and implement organisational strategies and business plans.
Maintaining working relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and managing vendor performance.
Providing advice, reports and briefings on complex issues, risks and opportunities.
Developing robust organisational strategies which optimise business operations underpinned by industry best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Exceptional interpersonal, communication and liaison skills.
Experience in leveraging enterprise architecture, cyber security and governance approaches to create business value.
Knowledge of IT related policies, guidelines and standards with the ability to guide decision-making and foster continuous improvement.
Experience in monitoring and reporting on the progress of initiatives, including identifying and responding to issues that threaten success.
Knowledge of IT operating models, industry frameworks, current and emerging software technologies and technology directions.
Experience in applying ITIL, Agile, COBIT, PRINCE2, TOGAF and ADKAR to support and evolve IT services whilst delivering on strategic priorities.
