  • Base Salary Range: $125,183 - $130,779 p.a
  • In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading, Zone Allowance and once off Incidental Payment (conditions apply), Professional Development Allowance, and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

Quorn Health Service

Quorn Health Service is a 41-bed facility, including 11 acute and 30 aged care beds. It provides accident and emergency services, general and surgical services and is a part of the Flinders Ranges Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) providing residential aged care. Our staff play an integral role in the health and wellbeing of residents by providing companionship and support and encouraging independence; by maintaining the link between family, friends and the local community enriches the quality of life of our care recipients. About the Role:

Are you a clinical leader ready to make a real impact on patient outcomes and team success? As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will use your expert clinical knowledge and leadership skills to coordinate and drive the delivery of exceptional patient care within a dedicated Health Unit or Community Service.

In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire nursing, midwifery, and multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring seamless coordination and continuity of care that enhances quality and safety. You’ll be accountable for clinical outcomes and champion a positive, collaborative work culture that empowers your team to excel.

Take the lead in shaping best practices, resolving inconsistencies between policy and care, and fostering an environment where both patients and staff thrive.

Looking for a change in scenery? – Nursing

About You:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Registered Nurse and or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience.
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing and/or midwifery practice in accordance with the relevant standards
  • Experience in management and leadership roles
  • Experience in the supervision of students, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
