Secure Fire Protection is a leading provider of fire protection services across New South Wales, helping commercial and residential buildings stay compliant with Australian fire safety standards and building codes. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our internal operations team. We currently have multiple full-time roles available across HR, Administration, and Compliance at our Smithfield office. About The Roles
Human Resources & People Coordinator
Join our team to help manage and strengthen our workforce. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about team culture, onboarding, and compliance in HR practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
Maintain employee records and HR systems
Support training compliance and performance tracking
Assist with recruitment and induction processes
Liaise with management on team development and resourcing needs
Ensure compliance with Fair Work and WHS standards
Office Administrator
The Office Administrator is a central support role within the business. You will assist with a wide range of administrative tasks to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
General admin tasks including document control, data entry, and inbox management
Answering phone calls and supporting client communications
Supporting the accounts team with invoicing and documentation
Assisting internal departments with reporting and filing
Maintaining orderly records in line with regulatory compliance
Fire Compliance Administrator
This role is critical to ensuring our clients meet all required compliance deadlines and documentation for fire safety services.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) preparation and submissions
Coordinate documentation for fire inspections, testing, and certifications
Maintain accurate compliance records and client files
Liaise with councils, clients, and field technicians to ensure regulatory timelines are met
Support the operations team with compliance reporting and data management
About You
We're seeking candidates who are:
Organised, detail-focused, and proactive
Confident communicators, both written and verbal
Experienced in admin, HR, or compliance roles (minimum 1 year preferred)
Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Familiar with field service software or compliance systems (preferred but not essential – training provided)
Willing to learn, adaptable, and able to work well in a small team environment

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Type: Full-Time
