The Position

The Administration Officer provides a high standard of administrative support for the Mitre 10 Goulburn store. The role supports the Store Manager and provides an exceptional level of customer service. You are responsible for day to day administrative tasks of the store.

In addition, you assist Retail Sales Assistants, attending to registers and providing customer service as required.

This is a full-time position based onsite at Mitre 10 Goulburn.

Responsibilities

Staff rostering, including scheduling of monthly rosters and backfilling vacancies using Deputy Scheduling

Answering incoming telephone enquiries

Daily banking duties and accounts payable

Creation and processing of purchase orders as required

Perform the receivals process for all chargeback and direct accounts

Process supplier invoices after goods have been received

Maintenance of office supplies

Complete monthly reconciliations and direct statements in a timely manner

Other general administration duties as requested.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

High level computer skills

Thorough attention to detail

Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)

Strong organisational skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritising workload according to deadlines

Customer service experience

A local family owned organisation employing over 95 staff in total across four stores: Mitre 10 Goulburn, Goulburn Produce & Rural Supplies, GoulPro Power Pumps N Sheds and Braidwood Rural Mitre 10.
