You will be expected to perform other job-related tasks requested by the Chief Executive Officer and/or Finance & Administration Officer as necessitated by the development of this role and the development of the business.
Position Purpose
To undertake administrative and financial transaction management tasks as directed by the Chief Executive Officer and/or Finance & Administration Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Administration – Data entry; Organising website content and materials; Processing membership and event registrations; Assisting Executive with administrative tasks; Responding to enquiries and emails; Management of accommodation and flight bookings for Executive; Managing and editing data in spreadsheets.
- Events – Assisting with event registrations, bookings and communications.
- Financial – Must have experience with Xero accounting software package. Manage payments, generate invoices, accounts payable and receivable, transaction reconciliation in Xero.
- Communications – Compiling newsletters; Responding to enquiries; Creating social media posts; Managing, organising and preparing content for advertising bookings; Drafting correspondence for meetings, events and other activities; Editing promotional material.

- Organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technology skills and knowledge including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
- Experience using the Xero Accounting software.
- Reliability and Punctuality.
- Diligence and conscientiousness.
