Join us as an Inclusion Support Coordinator and become a driving force for equity and accessibility in our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services. In this vital role, you’ll champion inclusive education by ensuring that children of all abilities - including those with disabilities, developmental delays, medical conditions, or from diverse cultural backgrounds - have the support they need to fully participate, learn, and grow. You’ll collaborate with dedicated teams, families, and external partners to design and deliver strategies that make a real difference in children’s lives - every single day.

Job Description

Make a real difference by leading inclusive practices that ensure every child feels seen, supported, and empowered.

Champion inclusive education by developing strategies that support children with diverse needs - developmental, medical, and cultural

Collaborate with teams and families to co-design inclusive practices, deliver staff training, and build capability across OSHC services

Lead inclusive planning by developing Strategic Inclusion Plans (SIPs) and ensuring children’s voices guide program design

Provide hands-on support through service visits, enrolment assistance, behaviour guidance, and implementation of SIPs

Strengthen community connections by partnering with external agencies and managing inclusion support funding and compliance

Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood, Primary or Special Education, or a related field

Experience supporting children with additional needs in education or care settings, ideally within OSHC

Strong understanding of inclusive practice, funding models, and regulatory requirements

Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-focused approach

Ability to write and implement Strategic Inclusion Plans, with a strong commitment to equity, confidentiality, and child safety
