Join Our Specialist Surgical Team as a Full-Time Treatment Coordinator

Are you a highly organized and compassionate professional with a passion for patient care? We are seeking a full-time Treatment Coordinator to join our dedicated team at a Specialist Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practice. This role plays a key part in guiding patients through their surgical journey—from consultation to recovery—with empathy, precision, and professionalism.

As our Treatment Coordinator, you will:

• Liaise with patient post-consultation to explain treatment plans

• Coordinate surgical bookings and third-party appointments

• Obtain informed financial and medical consent

• Assist with DVA, Superannuation, and Health Fund requirements

• Provide patient education and post-operative support

• Ensure accurate and timely financial estimates

• Maintain strong communication with surgeons, anaesthetists, and referrers

• Help manage implant inventory and theatre lists

• Deliver excellent customer service in a high-performing team

What We’re Looking For:

• Knowledge of patient management systems (Genie Highly Desired)

• Qualification or experience as a Dental Assistant/Medical Secretary (Highly Desired)

• Understanding of Australian healthcare systems and funding models (ADF, DVA, Super)

• Excellent communication, organisation, and conflict resolution skills

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure

• Competence in Word, Excel, and general computer literacy

• A team player with a passion for health education and patient experience

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time roll advertised however considerations will be made for Part Time role or a 9-day fortnight for the right applicant.

• Location: Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Mount Lawley
