We are seeking a Qualified Senior Beauty Therapist with extreme talent shown for all things beauty to fill a 25-38 hour week role in Management Position. This therapist should love all aspects of the beauty/spa industry and is passionate about training, team progression, customer service, ongoing career growth, and development. This position will not be considered for beauty graduates, or therapists with no proven beauty experience

MANAGEMENT POSITION OBJECTIVE

Clinic Manager oversees the day-to-day management of spa/clinic and client facilities. They liaise with clients and providing professionals, and coordinate client care plans. To be successful in this role, you should exhibit exceptional managerial abilities, which would ultimately translate to excellent patient care. Outstanding Clinic Managers are experienced administrators who proactively address issues that prevent the clinic from running smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES BY WORKING WITH THE SPA OWNER TO;

· Design and implement business strategies to help the clinic meet organisational goals manage staff by assigning and delegating tasks as needed

· Develop protocols and procedures to improve staff productivity

· Act as a liaison between clients and their therapists

· Managing internal and external communications and answering queries about the spa.

· Manage and approve staff hours

· Perform quarterly and annual employee reviews and provide constructive feedback on their performance to help them meet professional goals

· Ensure that all policies and procedures function in accordance with state and federal laws with the help of our legal team

· Recruit, hire and coordinate the training of new staff members

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

· 3+ years prior experience working in a beauty/spa setting

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

· Analytical thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement when making decisions

· Must be customer service oriented

· Extremely organised and detail-oriented

· Ability to delegate tasks as needed

WHILE ASSISTING WITH RECEPTION AND ADMIN:

· Schedule client appointments

· Maintain client records

· Operate cash registers to receive payments from clients

· Update and maintain customer information records, such as services provided

· Assist with clients needs during their journey at the spa including beverage and nibbles preparation

WHILE ASSISTING WITH BACK OF HOUSE:

· Keep work stations clean and sanitise tools

· Preparing rooms for the days services

· Closing of rooms at the end of the working day

· Perform all cleaning duties within the salon

· Use products and equipment in line with manufacturer’s directions

· Laundry (onsite)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

· Certificate IV or Diploma in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent)

· Good communication skills, presentable, result-oriented and able to work under pressure

· Passion for client satisfaction

· Proactive, hands on and independent

· Possess a positive attitude

· Dedicated to learning your trade

· Lead by example when attending to clients requests.

· Take responsibility to ensure all required tasks are completed accurately and within given time frames.
