About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Chef to join our team at Little Rosebery Cafe' located in Altona Meadows. This role would suit someone keen to take the next step in their culinary career and have full creative freedom of their own kitchen. As our primary Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality, delicious meals to our loyal customers. This full-time role is crucial in maintaining our cafe's reputation for exceptional food and service.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a range of dishes from our seasonal menu

Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation

Collaborating with the management team to develop new menu items and specials

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

Ordering product and maintaining a financially appropriate level of stock

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Chef in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment

Excellent culinary skills and a keen eye for detail

Strong time management and multitasking abilities

A passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Food safety and hygiene certification
