These brands are anchored by Global Payments, a Fortune 500® brand and commerce leader powering millions of companies around the world, from ambitious startups to enterprise giants.

Underpinning our values is an unwavering commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, woven into our cultural DNA through a multi-year Oceania program focused on two core pillars of action - Reconciliation and Gender Equity.
This role is aligned to Sentral, a proven web-based software solution that seamlessly manages school administration, student data and so much more. Our tailor-made solutions help administration staff, teachers and school leaders save valuable time to focus on improving school and student outcomes. Sentral is the trusted solution of choice in over 2,000 schools across Australia.
About the Role
Are you driven by purpose and passionate about helping schools thrive through technology? At Sentral, we’re looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join our growing team and help us expand our footprint across independent and government schools.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative team environment where your ideas are valued, and your success is celebrated. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the full sales cycle – from discovery and consultative conversations to proposals and onboarding – all while helping schools improve the way they operate and educate.
What you’ll be doing:
Building relationships with school leaders and decision-makers to understand their needs and introduce solutions that make a real difference;
Leading engaging presentations, product demos, and tender submissions;
Proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities in the education sector;
Developing thoughtful proposals and business cases that address school pain points;
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients;
Using Salesforce and other tools to manage your pipeline and stay on top of key sales metrics;
Supporting the wider sales team by sharing insights, helping to improve processes, and mentoring new team members as we grow;
Representing Sentral with authenticity and professionalism in all interactions.
About You
You’re a natural relationship-builder who enjoys meaningful conversations and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, consultative solutions. Whether you’ve come from a tech background or spent time working in or with schools, what matters most is your ability to connect, listen, and guide.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
5+ years of experience in business development, ideally with a focus on new client acquisition;
Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders;
A passion for innovation in education, with experience in SaaS, CRM, FinTech, or EdTech highly regarded;
Experience in or a connection to the education sector (e.g., former teacher, school admin, or EdTech);
A collaborative, team-first mindset – we value empathy as much as we do ambition;
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload;
Proficiency with digital tools and CRM platforms (Salesforce experience a plus);
A valid Australian driver’s licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel when needed.
Please note that you must have:
Full work rights in Australia
Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check
Ability to obtain an Australian Federal Police Check
Salary and location
Depending on experience the salary range for this role is $120, 000 - $140, 000 base + superannuation + commission.
We are open to candidates either based in Melbourne or Brisbane.
Our Benefits
Join a leading global technology brand that offers benefits you’ll actually value, including:
Flexible work arrangements that support your unique need;
18 weeks paid parental leave for either parent as well as two weeks paid secondary carer’s leave;
Women in Digital membership, granting you access to a host of member industry events and resources;
Additional birthday, community giving, wellness and study leave;
Our free and confidential Employee Assistance Program counselling service and wellbeing resources;
A jam-packed calendar of cultural celebrations and social activities;
Global career and professional development opportunities;
Salary sacrifice and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
