We are currently seeking a highly organised and motivated Transport Allocator / Account Manager to join our Campbellfield team. This role is focused on managing one of our key clients end-to-end and ensuring seamless coordination of their freight and warehouse operations.

About the Role:

In this unique and hands-on role, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of transport planning and account management, working exclusively with a high-value customer. Your role will encompass:

End-to-End Freight Planning:
Plan and allocate all freight movements efficiently, ensuring on-time delivery and service excellence.

Manifesting & Pallet Hire Management:
Complete accurate manifesting for daily loads and manage hire pallet movements in line with customer and CHEP/Loscam requirements.

DC Timeslot Bookings:
Coordinate and secure delivery timeslots at Distribution Centres (DCs), ensuring compliance with receiver requirements and avoiding delays.

Handling Rejected & Returned Freight:
Proactively manage rejected or returned pallets/orders, ensuring timely investigation, communication, and resolution with all stakeholders.

Warehouse Stock Management:
Collaborate closely with warehouse teams to monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring accuracy of inventory and smooth flow of goods.

Customer Account Management:
Serve as the day-to-day contact for the customer, providing clear communication, support, and issue resolution to uphold strong relationships.

Operational Coordination:
Liaise with internal transport and warehouse teams, subcontractors, and other partners to deliver on customer KPIs and service levels.

Data & Performance Reporting:
Track and analyse freight and warehouse data, identifying trends and recommending process improvements.

About You:

Prior experience in transport allocation, logistics coordination or similar operations roles.

Strong understanding of freight scheduling, warehouse operations, and DC booking processes.

Excellent customer service and communication skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with TMS (Transport Management Systems), pallet hire systems, and Microsoft Excel.

Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
