About Us
This privately owned, fast-growing civil contractor delivers end-to-end solutions across civil construction, infrastructure, and pipeline projects throughout Australia. With a strong footprint in urban development, water infrastructure, utilities, and large-scale subdivisions, they’re known for a hands-on, practical approach and a strong commitment to quality and performance.
Their in-house capabilities span project management, earthworks, pipe installation, roadworks, drainage, and concrete structures, backed by a skilled team and a modern fleet of plant and equipment. Servicing a range of clients from private developers to Tier 1 contractors and government bodies, they continue to expand their presence across QLD, NSW and SA.
The business is values-driven, team-oriented, and led by a leadership group that backs its people and empowers them to make a difference.
The Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for an energetic, driven Contract Manager to take ownership of our contract administration across QLD, NSW, and SA. You’ll be a key player in ensuring our projects run smoothly, profitably, and in full compliance with contract obligations. You’ll provide strategic commercial oversight while empowering and guiding Project Managers to succeed.
This is not just a contract admin role—it’s a leadership opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in a business that values initiative and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts across QLD, NSW & SA—from tender award through to final close-out.

- Monitor project costs, variations, and claims, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve commercial outcomes.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks across the portfolio.
- Develop and implement process improvements in contract administration.
- Work closely with senior leadership to support growth, profitability, and best practice.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in contract management or senior contract administration within the civil construction, infrastructure or utilities sectors.

- Leadership experience—Project Managers or Contract Administrators have reported to you or you've been the key commercial authority on major projects.
- A go-getter mindset: proactive, energetic, and eager to improve systems and outcomes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Flexibility to travel across QLD, NSW & SA on occasion and as required.
What We Offer
- A growing, agile business where your impact is visible and valued.
- Supportive leadership team and down-to-earth culture.
- The autonomy to shape your role and drive improvements.
