The Opportunity

This is a very exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join the leadership team of this exciting and innovative ASX-listed business. The Finance Manager will help provide financial control support including ASX statutory reporting, as well as work closely with the CFO assisting with FP&A and commercial analysis.

You will report directly to a highly reputable and experienced CFO and work with a collegiate team towards a common goal. In addition, you will work towards developing a finance team that will be highly visible and seen as a true business partner to the organisation.

You will be given a lot of autonomy and responsibility with a clear mandate to exercise your initiative and process improvement initiatives.

The Challenge

The Finance Manager is the 2IC to the CFO and has the mandate to support them in key commercial and analytical duties as well as manage the day to day finance function including the development of a small but growing finance team. Other key responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly and annual management and financial reports.
• Support consolidated financial statement preparation and intercompany eliminations.
• Track and report on clinical trial finances and related contracts.
• Oversee accounts payable processes and supplier management.
• Manage banking operations, payments, and treasury functions.
• Administer payroll, expense processing, and statutory reporting across AU and US.
• Handle BAS, tax compliance, and R&D tax support.
• Maintain contract records and ensure documentation compliance.
• Manage accounts receivable and customer invoicing.
• Coordinate audits and work with external accounting and tax providers.

The Expertise
