About the role

We are seeking an experienced New Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team at BTK Logistics 3PL Pty Ltd in Altona, Victoria. This full-time role will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving the company's growth strategy. You will work closely with operations teams to identify and secure new clients across a range of industries.

What you'll be doing

Proactively identify and pursue new business leads through market research, networking and cold calling

Develop and deliver tailored sales pitches and proposals to prospective clients

Negotiate contract terms and close new business deals

Collaborate with operations teams to ensure successful onboarding and delivery of services for new clients

Maintain a detailed pipeline of sales opportunities and provide regular progress updates

Participate in industry events and networking activities to raise the company's profile

Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and identify new market trends and opportunities

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience in new business development or sales within the logistics or supply chain industry

Proven track record of successfully identifying, pitching and securing new clients

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels

Strong negotiation and contract management skills

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Proactive, self-motivated and results-oriented mindset

Tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, or a related field is desirable
