Vicwest Roofing are a leading supplier and installer of roofing products to the residential building industry.

We’re looking for an Operations Coordinator that is a detail-orientated, problem solver that is ready to hit the ground running in our busy Ballarat branch. This position will join the Operations team and is varied in its duties, meaning there will never be a dull moment! The successful candidate will be provided with relevant training to enable them to understand our internal systems so they can really sink their teeth into the role and succeed.

Duties of the role include (but certainly are not limited to):

Provide support within the Operations team to meet demands as required

Receive and schedule bookings, services and repairs

Assist with the coordination of subcontractors for works

Process orders, quotes and invoices accurately and in a timely manner

Keep well informed on the progress of jobs and update with job notes as required,

Liaising with builders and suppliers,

Ensure customer engagements are professional and concise,

Accurate data entry and able to problem solve and find solutions,

Interpret two dimensional drawings as three-dimensional objects

Assist procurement team

Ideal candidate attributes:

A team player: uses initiative to assist other staff members

Strong computer and mathematics skills

High attention to detail

Ability to visual drawings in 3D Applicad/Roof Wizard highly advantageous

Excellent time management skills

Be willing and able to learn internal systems

Reliable, effective, and efficient in their work

Abides by company safety policies and procedures

Residential construction background (on site or in office, highly desirable but not mandatory)
