Job Title: Marketing Specialist

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 + Super

Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for a wide array of marketing tasks and analysis to develop marketing strategies and identify market opportunities for Glassguard. The Marketing Specialist advises the Managing Director on developing and executing strategies to promote, develop, and accurately price Glassguard products, including penetration into new markets globally.
The Marketing Specialist uses technical skills in e commerce and marketing software, as well as data analytics capabilities to perform the role. The Marketing Specialist utilises core soft skills in communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, critical thinking, and teamwork to perform their tasks and objectives.
The Marketing Specialist is able to work autonomously where needed, make data-driven decisions, and at all times their behaviour aligns with GLASSGUARD’s core values.
The ideal candidate must have strong analytical knowledge, technical proficiency with marketing software and AI-enhanced e-commerce platforms, and a proven ability to coordinate with third-party agencies, online retail platforms, and distribution partners to drive brand visibility, product performance, and sales growth.
Core Responsibilities
Planning, developing, and executing marketing strategies, campaigns and go-to-market plans to identify sales opportunities, increase sales, launch new products, and support business growth in new and existing markets.
Increasing consumer awareness of the attributes of Glassguard’s flagship products such as the Miracle Mould Remover Gel, Glass Restoration Stain Remover, and Glass Nanocoat Kit, as well as awareness of new products and bundles.
Advising the Managing Director and other senior staff on the long-term strategic direction for individual flagship products to support brand visibility and identity.
Ideation, planning and developing of all elements of marketing initiatives, such as product bundles (eg “Spring Cleaning Bundle” “Christmas Bundle”) and strategic pricing initiatives.
Using specialised software to interpret trends, provide insight into optimal pricing and marketing strategy, analysing current consumer trends, and forecasting future trends.
Using specialised software such as Klaviyo, Shopify, TripleWhale and others to perform data analysis to inform understanding of consumer patterns, preferences and market opportunities, as well as the effectiveness of new and existing marketing strategies and campaigns.
Negotiate pricing and feature enhancements with marketing analytics software providers to optimise effectiveness and efficiency of email, digital, and SMS marketing performance.
Lead the development and implementation of SEO strategies across product pages, blog content, and landing pages to improve organic search visibility, keyword rankings, and traffic acquisition, leveraging tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Moz, and coordinating with external SEO consultants or agencies where necessary.
Leverage AI solutions for business growth, including optimising email sign-up processes, enhancing flow effectiveness, and driving continuous growth through tools like BlackCrow AI.
Develop and manage campaign guidelines including for: User Generated Content initiatives, talent management, and sales platforms (such as Amazon page design) to meet marketing objectives and requirements.
Advise on asset guidelines (video, text, billboard) for major campaigns (campaigns will range up to six figures per campaign).
