Public Sector People are recruiting for an experienced AO7 Principal Procurement Officer on behalf of a State Government Department. As a Procurement Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our procurement strategies, providing expert guidance, and fostering strong relationships across the organisation.

- $85.31 per hour plus super
- Monday to Friday – 36.25 hours per week

Key Outcomes and Accountabilities:
- Provide expert advice to staff at all levels on planning and conducting procurement processes, with a particular focus on high-value and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and support the business in undertaking complex procurement processes, including developing and reviewing significant procurement plans, go-to-market documents, evaluation plans, evaluation reports, and contract management plans.
- Drive the implementation of strategic procurement planning, including the development and execution of annual Agency Procurement Plans.

You are a role model, supporting others to overcome challenges in project delivery and taking ownership of achieving high-quality outcomes.
The successful client must be located in Brisbane and available to start ASAP.
State Government experience is highly desired.
