Accounts Officer | Temp Role | $40–45ph + Super | East Perth / WFH Options

We’re currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Officer to join a well-regarded Not-for-Profit organisation based in East Perth. This is a 4-week temporary assignment (with potential to extend), offering excellent flexibility in hours and work-from-home options.

• Hours: 20 hours per week – choose how you structure your time
• Location: East Perth office + flexible WFH options
• Rate: $40–45 per hour + Super
• Start Date: ASAP

About the Role: Working in a small, friendly team of three, you’ll take ownership of daily transactional finance duties – with a focus on high-volume Accounts Payable (80%) and some Accounts Receivable (20%). Support is available, but this role will suit a self-starter who is comfortable working independently.

What You'll Do

• Process high-volume invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage supplier communications and resolve payment queries
• Reconcile supplier statements and follow up outstanding items
• Assist with basic AR functions such as receipting and allocating payments
• Use MYOB Advanced (preferred) or similar accounting systems

Ideal Candidate:

• Prior experience in AP / AR roles, ideally in a not-for-profit or SME environment
• Confident with MYOB Advanced or similar ERP systems
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomously
• Available to start immediately and commit to at least 4 weeks
