Finance Officer / Subiaco / $40.00 - $42.00 per hour / Temporary Position / / Onsite parking

An award-winning mining company, with sites across Australia, are looking to recruit a skilled Finance Officer on a temporary basis. This is a new position and is likely to become permanent. The purpose of the role will be to assist the Senior Finance Officer with all accounting tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure with all aspects of accounts, within a rapidly growing company.

Key duties of the Finance Officer will include:

• Assist with processing payroll, monitoring and verifying employee timesheets, including resolving any discrepancies related to hours worked and leave management.
• Processing supplier invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Process payments, and receipts
• Monitor and action accounts inbox
• Provide accounts and administrative support to Management and assist with month-end processes.
• Other ad-hoc administrative duties as required.

Key skills required:

• Experience of payroll and accounts payable
• Excellent communication
• High attention to detail
• Confident with systems including excel & Xero
