Reporting directly to the Finance Team Leader and working closely with the GM-Finance, this role is responsible for delivering exceptional financial support to the business. Ultimately, success in the role will be demonstrated by your ability to expertly support our WA based finance team.

The key responsibilities of the role will be as follows:

· Be accountable for entering invoices and assisting with the processing of weekly payments in line with cash flow forecasts as provided by GM Finance.

· Maintain accounts receivable and payable ledgers including monthly reconciliations where required.

· Processing of all approved expense claims.

· To follow up with other team members where required to ensure all invoices are approved on Traild in a timely manner so as not to delay AP payment runs.

· Conduct weekly bank reconciliation back to MYOB for all bank transactions

· Send bank balance to GM Finance each week with a list of expected payments / remittances for the remainder of the week for entry into the weekly cashflow.

· Follow up all outstanding debtors and confirm collection dates.

· Send a weekly debtors report to GM Finance for review.

· Preparation of accounts receivable and payable related journals where required.

· Provide additional Administration support to the offices as required

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

· Strong bookkeeping skills or equivalent competency

· Relevant accounting experience at an appropriate level (min 2 years)

· General knowledge of financial accounting practices and procedures

· High Proficiency in a range of computing skills including MS Office, databases, internet, email, and ERP Systems (Ideally MYOB Acumatica)

· Well-developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

· Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively as part of a team.

· High attention to detail.
