At Biala we pride ourselves on creating a supportive, inclusive, and values-driven workplace. We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Human Resources Specialist to support our growing team and ensure compliance with employment legislation, HR best practices, and the SCHADS Award.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert advice on employment matters, with a strong focus on the SCHADS Award

Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes

Support performance management and employee relations issues

Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and staff documentation compliance

Monitor award interpretation, wage compliance, and contract preparation

Provide HR reporting and support workforce planning

Act as a trusted advisor to managers and staff on all HR matters

About You:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources role

Strong working knowledge of the SCHADS Award is essential

Excellent understanding of Fair Work and Australian employment legislation

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities

HR qualifications and/or relevant certifications (desirable)
