Role Overview
We are seeking an accounts/office administrator who will be responsible for reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to external partners, maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts, managing payroll and preparing various reports. To be successful in this role, you should have a finance or accounting background and be familiar with bookkeeping and payroll procedures. We are in the IT industry so experience/knowledge of domain names, website hosting and digital marketing terminology would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
The role includes a lot of autonomy and flexibility. You'll have the option to work remotely or from our office in Helensvale. The role can either be a casual position with flexible hours or a part time position with fixed hours.

Key Responsibilities
Send invoices to clients & follow up overdue invoices via phone & email
Pay invoices and bills
Reconcile payments made and received in Xero and file paid invoices
Manage and process payroll, including superannuation & payroll tax
Prepare P&L and commission reports
Check and process quarterly BAS
Manage domain name renewals and invoicing
Other administrative or office-keeping tasks as required
Qualifications
No formal training or qualifications are required, however we need someone with:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
Good knowledge of payroll and bookkeeping procedures
Understanding of debt collection regulations and confident following up overdue invoices
Strong data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
Experience working with Xero
Experience creating and working with spreadsheets
Working Conditions
We can offer flexible working hours however majority of the role would need to be completed during standard office hours which are Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 4pm (QLD). You'll have the flexibility of working from home or from our office in Helensvale. All required computer & phone equipment will be provided. The role should require 15-20 hours per week and we are happy to offer a casual or part time position depending on your preferences.
