Our client is a state government organisation who are looking for a senior sourcing specialist on a fixed-term contract until December. You will play a pivotal role within the contracts and procurement team, providing expert advice and operational support to the Chief Procurement Officer and senior leadership team on strategic sourcing activities.

Your new role

Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist

• Providing strategic sourcing advice and support to the SLT and business units
• Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with operational needs and frameworks.
• Provide expert advice on a range of procurement-related matters
• Delivery of end-to-end tender processes for complex and high-value procurement activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant procurement legislation.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll come with extensive public sector procurement experience with end-to-end procurement and sourcing activity.

You will have demonstrated a minimum of 2 years within a government procurement environment.
