We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our reputable State Government Client. This role is pivotal in providing expert advice and operational support on strategic sourcing across a wide range of procurement categories.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support end-to-end tendering processes for complex, high-value procurement activities.

Provide strategic sourcing advice.

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with operational needs and policies.

Build strong stakeholder relationships with internal, external, and government departments.

Ensure compliance with relevant procurement legislation and guidelines.

Prepare high-quality procurement documentation, including sourcing plans, tender briefs, evaluation reports, and supplier debriefs.

Identify and mitigate procurement risks, maintaining transparency, probity, and fairness.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

A relevant tertiary qualification in commerce, law, business management, procurement, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a government procurement environment.

Strong understanding of Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB) guidelines.

Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, tendering, and contract management.

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
