About the Business Unit:
Employee and Workplace Relations is responsible for management of the Justice portfolio's industrial relations program, the management of departmental employee relations issues including employee conduct, the department's Human Resource Business Partnerships and also administers the internal review of actions process.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Systems Improvement, the Senior Systems Project Officer is responsible for the development, optimisation and strategic use of Employee and Workplace Relations (EWR) systems and data to deliver insights that support evidence-based decision making at the executive level. The role will work closely with teams across EWR to identify areas that will drive improved organisational performance.
Some of your duties will include:
- Performing detailed data analysis and reporting on workplace relations cases to identify insights, risks, and opportunities.
- Undertake a range of cross-functional HR projects and process reviews related to systems and data.
- Manage and maintain backend components of Microsoft-based systems including SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, and Forms.
About You:
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Specialist experience and proficiency using Microsoft 365 Suite, in particular SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, Forms, and Power BI to safely manage system permissions, settings, configurations and workflow automation.
- Significant experience in providing specialist and strategic human resource advice to senior stakeholders, preferably within a complex Government workplace.
- High level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create user-friendly documentation and training tools.
