Located in Esperance, WA., Stearnes Glass is seeking an experienced Aluminium Fabricator to join our close knit team. We are a family owned and operated business, established in 1951.

We offer premium aluminium window and door solutions with a reputation for quality, custom design, flexible and friendly service.

In this role you will lead the preparation and assembly of aluminium window frames and doors.

We are looking for a conscientious, fit and detail orientated individual to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Accurately measure, cut, and assemble aluminium window and door frame components according to specifications.

Perform quality checks throughout the fabrication process to ensure products meet our high standards

Operate power tools and machinery to fabricate window and door components

Following a list of priority jobs to stay on track.

Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of workshop equipment and tools

Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Work collaboratively with the installation team to deliver projects on time and to the highest standard

Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication or installation process

Assist with loading and unloading of deliveries.

Skills and experience required:

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Aluminium Window Fabricator or similar.

Strong technical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Proficient in the use of power tools and machinery used in the fabrication of aluminium windows and doors

Ability to follow processes.

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Developed problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.

Follow occupational health and safety protocols
