Contribute to our team of 12 heavy body builders as a Leading Hand in Fabrication in this newly created position. Reporting to our Trailer Repairs Manager, this permanent full time opportunity's tasks and responsibilities include:

Briefing and overseeing team members on all allocated Trailer Repair or New Build jobs, to ensure that work is being completed as quoted to the customer

Providing procedures and regular training to staff when required

Providing regular and consistent feedback to team members on progress of jobs and quality of work

Where time permits, completing major fabrication works - Including welding of steel, stainless and aluminum

Using problem solving abilities to solve any additional repairs or issues that arise

Benefits

Starting rate of between $40-50 per hour. This is negotiable for the right candidate

Leading hand allowance & tool allowance and uniforms provided

Experience and Qualifications:

Trade Cert in Metal Fabrication, Heavy Vehicle Body Building or similar

Experience leading a team and overseeing jobs to completion
