About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Steel Window Fabricator to join our small team specializing in custom steel window and door manufacturing. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to work on high-quality residential and small commercial projects, creating bespoke steel windows that combine traditional craftsmanship with modern precision.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications

Cut, shape, and weld steel components using various fabrication techniques

Operate fabrication equipment including plasma cutters, grinders, and welding machines

Assemble window frames, sashes, and hardware components

Ensure precise measurements and quality control throughout the fabrication process

Prepare surfaces through grinding, filing, and finishing techniques

Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good working condition

Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Essential Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience in metal fabrication or similar trade

Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding techniques

Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments

Experience with power tools and fabrication machinery

Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Physical fitness for lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in window or door fabrication
