We’re partnering with a highly regarded federal program currently delivering large-scale digital transformation to find an experienced Change and Release Manager. This role is central to ensuring stability, quality, and transparency across ongoing releases and IT change activities within a secure environment.
About the role
As the Change and Release Manager, you’ll oversee the coordination, approval, and implementation of changes and releases across complex technology environments. You’ll work closely with delivery teams, architecture, operations, and governance to ensure smooth service transitions with minimal disruption. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong coordination skills, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to quality and risk.
What you’ll be doing

• Coordinate all IT change management processes across the digital program
• Schedule, track, and manage the deployment of software releases, updates, and patches
• Conduct impact and risk assessments to support approval and control
• Manage testing and validation processes to ensure quality prior to deployment
• Maintain detailed documentation and reporting on all changes and release cycles
• Support service transition for new systems entering production environments
• Ensure adherence to ITIL-aligned governance and federal compliance standards
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and awareness across delivery teams

About you

• Proven experience managing change and release in secure, large-scale or government environments
• Strong understanding of change governance, deployment cycles, and risk frameworks
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile or hybrid delivery environments
• High level of accountability, professionalism, and quality focus
• NV1 security clearance (active) is essential
• Relevant IT or project delivery qualifications desirable
