About you

You are an experienced, positive customer service representative and store person who ideally has construction supplies product knowledge.

You will also have the following skills:

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong computer skills including experience using ERP or CRM systems
• Current forklift licence and Australian drivers licence
• Ability to lift heavy items
• Experience or ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Positive attitude

About the role

Based in a busy warehouse, 7:45am to 3:51pm, Monday to Friday, your main responsibilities will include:

• Answering and redirecting inbound telephone calls
• Being the first point of contact when customers visit the warehouse to pick-up goods
• Greeting walk-in customers and helping them find the products they need
• Inputting orders for telephone, email, website and walk in customers
• Ensuring products are in stock and if not, making the necessary arrangements to order goods in
• Receiving goods using scanners
• Picking and packing orders for dispatch
• Transferring stock and stacking shelves
• Labelling products with barcodes
• Conducting stock checks and cycle counts
• Operating forklifts
• Heavy lifting
• Warehouse and shop upkeep
• Deliveries and pickups in the van or truck
• Assisting other team members as required
