Customer Service Representative (Part-Time) – NSW Government

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality, face-to-face customer service to the community. You'll be assisting customers with various services, ensuring their experience is seamless and positive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service in a face-to-face environment
• Assist customers with inquiries, transactions, and service-related needs
• Utilise computer systems to process applications and manage customer information
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times

We are looking for candidates who:

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have experience working in an office environment
• Demonstrate intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook and Teams), typing, and email etiquette
• Are tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems

Training

Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive full-time training and nesting period of approximately 10–12 weeks (35 hours per week). Training is delivered over two separate 5-day sessions at our specialised training facilities in Coffs Harbour or Penrith, NSW. Post-training, you will transition to your contracted 20 hours per week.

Working Hours

The role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM, and Saturdays from 8:15 AM to 12:45 PM (excluding public holidays).
