About the role

FGI Developments' is seeking a talented Civil Business Development Manager to join our team in our Adelaide office. As a full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our civil engineering services across South Australia.

What you'll be doing

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the civil engineering and infrastructure sectors

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, industry partners and stakeholders

Help with preparing bids, tenders and proposals to secure new projects and clients

Collaborating with our technical teams to ensure the seamless delivery of civil engineering solutions

Providing strategic advice and guidance to the leadership team on market trends and new business prospects

Representing FGI Developments' at industry events, conferences and networking functions

Contributing to the development and implementation of the company's overall business development strategy

What we're looking for

Proven track record in business development, sales or client management within the civil engineering or construction industry

Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to pitch to and negotiate with clients

Sound technical understanding of civil engineering principles, practices and project delivery

Demonstrated ability to identify and convert new business opportunities

Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, construction management or a related field
