About the role

Wattle Hill Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Support and Village Manager to join our team in Bunbury, WA. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our retirement village, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and oversee all facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and minor refurbishments
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers to deliver high-quality services
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the village's operations
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and their families
• Manage and lead a team of support staff
• Prepare and monitor budgets for the village's operations
• Collaborate with the property management team to address any issues or concerns

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role within the real estate or property industry
• Strong understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, staff, and external stakeholders
• Proficient in budget management and financial reporting
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address any issues that may arise
• Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
