Your new role
Are you a skilled Residential Property Manager with excellent communication skills and a passion for people and business? Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their high-performing Property Management team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a unique, remotely located portfolio and contribute to one of Australia's largest property management contracts, serving a major client in the mining industry.
As part of the regionally based team, you will be supported by a Housing Manager and a Perth-based team, including a Regional General Manager, Trust Account Manager, and Property Support Officer. Your expertise in property management will ensure best practices and compliance, leveraging your industry knowledge and experience. You will gain insights into managing a sophisticated client portfolio within an integrated facility management contract. The team is supportive, hard-working, and results-oriented, continuously seeking innovative and efficient ways to serve their clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage housing applications, assessments, and reviews
- Oversee leasing, ingoing, and vacating tenancy procedures
- Conduct routine inspections and PCRs
- Handle property maintenance management
- Manage bonds and tenant damage cost recovery
Note: No trust accounting, end of month, or weekend home opens required.
What you'll need to succeed
- At least 3 years of experience in Residential Property Management or agency management.
- DMIRS Certificate of Registration as a Property Manager or Real Estate and Business Sales Representative registration.
- Proven ability to manage your own work schedule, handle competing priorities, and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate completion of documents, adherence to processes, and maintenance of precise client, lease property, and tenant records.
- Advanced computing skills with the ability to quickly learn new property management systems.
