Kullarri Regional Communities Indigenous Corporation (KRCIC) is a non-profit organisation that empowers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Broome area and remote communities within the Kullarri Region, to gain employment and education through government-funded programs and initiatives.
About the role
KRCIC is seeking a qualified and experienced CDP Case Manager to join our Organisation and work within the Ardyaloon (One Arm Point) Community. This position offers the opportunity to reside in community throughout the contract.
Ardyaloon (One Arm Point) is located on the Dampier Peninsula in Western Australia, approximately 2,200 kilometres from the capital city of Perth and 200 kilometres north of Broome. Ardyaloon is a significant remote Aboriginal community in Western Australia with a population of approximately 400 residents and is home to the Bardi Jawi people - traditional owners of the land. Rich in history, art and culture and with a developing economy, Ardyaloon has many community facilities and infrastructure to support community's people.
The Case Manager will work under the general direction of the Remote Employment Service Manager. The role requires a high level of skill and knowledge to achieve employment and relevant training outcomes for remote job seekers, and to support the organisation’s goals. Whilst there is a compliance framework that must be adhered to, the Case Manager is expected to exercise initiative and judgement and make sound and reasonable interventions to assist Remote Community Jobseekers to overcome barriers to employment whilst increasing their employability. The Case Manager plays a significant role in brokering job and training placements for job seekers and is expected to have excellent stakeholder relations and good post placement follow up systems.

Previous experience in the Employment Service sector;
Sound knowledge/understanding of Aboriginal culture and people;
Willingness to work in a remote Aboriginal community;
Set priorities, monitor workflows and establish work programs for remote job seekers.
Essential requirements
Current Police Check (not older than 3 months old or willing to apply);
Current ‘C’ class Driver's License (unrestricted);
Current WWCC (or willing to apply).
