Our client is a large service provider to the resource and oil and gas sectors across Australia. They are looking for a detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator, initially on a 12 month fixed term contract, to manage and optimise training schedules and crew rosters. Full training will be provided and no prior industry experience is required. If you are an easy going, approachable administrator, with excellent planning skills, we want to hear from you! This role is available for immediate start and once training is complete, there is potential for 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate training schedules in line with company policies and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain staff rosters, ensuring compliance with workplace agreements.
  • Organise third-party training and manage travel and accommodation bookings.
  • Process leave requests and schedule adjustments efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and systems.
  • Communicate schedule updates and resolve conflicts as needed.
  • Support long-term workforce planning and operational efficiency.

  • Strong Organisational Skills – Ability to manage complex schedules and prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy in scheduling, compliance, and record-keeping.
  • Problem-Solving Ability – Proactively identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Excellent Communication – Clear and professional interaction with staff, trainers, and external providers.
  • Easygoing & Approachable – Works well with others and brings a positive, can-do attitude to the team.
