Position: Full-Time Chef

Salary: $73,150 - $80,000 per annum

Café Go! is a vibrant and bustling café located in Geelong. We pride ourselves on serving exceptional dishes made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We are currently seeking a highly professional, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as a Full-Time Chef.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare a variety of creative, high-quality dishes.
• Develop and update menus to reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Ensure consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation.
• Manage food stock and place orders to maintain inventory levels.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
• Monitor kitchen operations and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
• Handle any special dietary requests or catering requirements with care and professionalism.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or above in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for food and creativity in menu development.
