Key Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef to manage the kitchen operations on a day-to-day basis

Partner with the Head Chef to ensure great culture, consistency of food and motivation of staff

Managing own section and maintaining it to high standards

Create and oversee quality and consistency with food preparation and plating, ensuring best culinary experience for the guest

Contributing ideas to menu and recipe updates and specials as required

Stock control, ordering, waste management and working to budget

Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant kitchen environment

Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to excellence.

Adhere to Food Safety standards and hygiene regulations.

Collaborate with Front of House (FOH) staff to ensure seamless service.

About You

To thrive in this role, you will have:

· 2+ years’ experience in a high-paced kitchen environment

· A Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery

· Exceptional skills in food preparation, portion control, and presentation

· A strong understanding of Food Safety and Hygiene standards

· The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

· A passion for culinary creativity and sustainable practices

· Great communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
