About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chef to join the team at our cafe located in Randwick, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for all kitchen operations and delivering an exceptional dining experience for our customers.
What you'll be doing
Ensure consistently efficient, safe and hygienic kitchen operations
Monitor food costs and inventory, and implement cost-saving measures
Foster a positive, productive and professional kitchen environment
Maintain compliance with all food safety and health regulations
Coordinate with the manager with regards the menu, stock, pricing levels etc.
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent knowledge of food preparation, presentation and food safety standards
Proven track record of managing kitchen budgets and controlling costs
Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a dynamic environment
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
