About CASWA
The Council of Aboriginal Services Western Australia (CASWA) is dedicated to strengthening the Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) sector in WA by supporting self-determination, cultural authority, and sector development. CASWA works closely with ACCOs to ensure Aboriginal-led solutions drive systemic change, particularly in areas such as justice, health, housing, and child protection.
About the role
CASWA is seeking a Finance and Office Manager to oversee all financial operations and business functions. This key position will manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budget preparation, financial reporting, audits, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
You will also support business operations by maintaining office systems, managing contracts, and providing executive support. Additionally, this role will be critical in managing the transition of financial functions from AHCWA, ensuring continuity during this change.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage all financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and legislative compliance.
Lead the preparation and management of the annual budget, financial forecasts, and strategic financial reports.
Develop and implement financial systems, controls, and compliance procedures.
Oversee business operations, including facilities management, procurement, and vendor relations.
To excel in this role, you will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
CPA/CA qualification or significant progress toward completion.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in senior financial management roles.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
Strong experience in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic financial management.
