We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Team Manager to join our organisation. The Maintenance Team Manager will be responsible for leading Azure’s maintenance and defect resolution operations across the defects liability period and structural programs.
They will drive effective triage, timely resolution, and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance, team performance, and cost control.
The Maintenance Manager will build a capable team and process framework that supports our delivery standards and reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Experienced in construction, defects management, or residential property maintenance
Strong leadership skills with a background in team and stakeholder management
Deep understanding of compliance standards, WHS, and defect legislation
Proactive, organised, and focused on quality and customer outcomes
Confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
About You
4+ years experience in construction, defects management or residential property maintenance [mandatory]
Experience in end-to-end construction value chain [desirable]
Facility management experience and knowledge of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act, Policy and Standards outlining the requirements for rectifying defective or incomplete building work [desirable]
Working knowledge of Residential Tenancies Authority [RTA] legislation [desirable]
Proficient in a range of software platforms and maintenance/defect management systems, including but not limited to HubSpot, PropertyMe, and ServiceM8. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and digital tools
Demonstrated experience in effective people management, fostering a positive team culture, and driving individual and collective success
Strong understanding of building construction processes, standards and codes
Strong organisation, time management, and attention to detail
