Your new role

As the Client Services Manager, you will work with a reputable NDIS provider to look after a case load of participants. As part of your role, you will lead with empathy, professionalism, and knowledge of the NDIS to provide a positive experience throughout every exchange. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to showcase and expand on their current skillsets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the delivery of NDIS-funded supports and services, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Monitor staff performance, attendance, and ethics, addressing concerns as needed.
  • Support participants to achieve their goals and maintain independence.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safety Standards.
  • Oversee incident management processes and report non-compliance or issues.
  • Maintain clear communication with participants, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Identify training and skill development needs for staff and arrange relevant professional development.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance managerial skills.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Comprehensive understanding of NDIS legislation, standards, and guidelines.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and understand their individual needs and goals.
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to identify problems, analyse data, and develop solutions.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and regulations and the ability to manage risk effectively.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively manage workload and deadlines.
  • Proven experience working in the NDIS sector, with a solid understanding of NDIS funding, planning, and service delivery models.
  • Extensive networks and relationships with support coordinators, clients, providers, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Self-starter who likes to leave things better than the way you find them.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Supported Independent Living services.
  • Knowledge of NDIS regulations and standards.
  • A compassionate, empathetic, and person-centred approach to support.
  • Valid Australian Driver's licence and reliable transport.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Check.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
