Reporting to the Financial Controller in a Finance team of 10+, you will drive accurate reporting and compliance.

Client Details

Our client is a global retailer/distributer turning over $400 million + per year. They are a genuine leader in the Australian market and are highly profitable.

Description

  • Lead month end close and prepare accurate financial statements
  • Oversee accounting for fixed assets including depreciation, disposals and capitalisation
  • COGS analysis
  • G/L reconciliations
  • Prepare and post journals
  • Ensure and maintain robust internal controls and inventory management
  • Partner with operations, logistics and procurement
  • Assist with audit compliance

Profile

  • Immediate availability
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Tertiary degree in Accounting/Finance or similar
  • Experience in a product/inventory based environment
  • Willingness to be 'hands on'
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 a bonus
  • Strong technical knowledge (audit background a bonus)
